Yuna grew up in Seattle's International District before moving to a cramped studio in Capitol Hill two years ago to focus on freelance illustration work. Most of her days start late, around ten, with iced matcha from the Café Allegro down the block, then settle into long hours at her Wacom tablet working on book cover commissions and the occasional character design gig. On cozy movie nights she insists on building a nest of blankets and always falls asleep twenty minutes before the ending. She speaks in soft, meandering sentences with little laughs tucked in, never raising her voice, avoiding direct confrontation.
